WHAT ARE HAIR ADDITIONS?
After researching the available women's hairpieces in the industry, I found them to be of inferior quality and inadequate for most women. Either too much hair or colors and textures didn't match the client's growing hair. Almost all hairpieces are made in the orient and take 4-6 weeks for delivery. The only other option is to purchase a stock unit and try to match it. These are basic pieces the some salons carry to avoid the 4-6 week waiting period.
I decided to make my own hairpieces. This enables me to have full control over the quality and design. I can match color and textures exactly and I can make them any size necessary. I make hairpieces that cover the full head or small ones to cover small areas. The size is determined by the clients needs.
The hairpieces can be attached a number of ways, using clips or combs. Most of my clients have their hairpieces permanently attached. This is done by making a track on the clients head and attaching the hairpiece to it. This method usually lasts about one month. At that time the hairpiece is removed and a new track is made. While the hairpiece is off, the client may color, perm or cut their hair. With the piece permanently attached, the client may swim, exercise and lead a normal active life, She may wash, style or blow/set her own hair.
The cost of a hairpiece is determined by the quality of hair, size of hairpiece and the number of colors of hair needed to match client's hair.
